Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches about how people develop ability, learn a craft, collaborate and present creative work. A strong proposal starts with a precise question and gives readers a clear way to think or act differently.
What we welcome
We are interested in grounded explanations, useful comparisons, histories that clarify a present-day practice, and careful examinations of common assumptions. Pitches should fit the publication's focus on talent and creative work, not promise guaranteed outcomes or rely on unverified claims.
What makes a pitch work
Tell us the central idea, who it is for and what makes the angle distinct. Include the main points you would cover and note any examples or sources you expect to use. A narrow, well-defined question is more useful than a broad proposal about talent in general.
How to send a proposal
Send proposals through the Contact page and select the editorial question option. Please describe the idea in your own words. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; we will consider its fit, clarity and value to readers.
